How far is the ocean from the campsite?

Is the camping close to Angoulême?
Prefecture of the department of Charente, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Angoulême is 45min away from the camping les Gorges du Chambon.
We recommend you to take advantage of your stay at the camping to visit the city of Angoulême, search for the painted walls, visit the City of Comics and Images and stroll along the ramparts.
Is the camping in the Perigord Vert?
Yes, the Gorges du Chambon camping is at the gates of Périgord vert, which is part of the Périgord Limousin Regional Nature Park.

What time can we arrive at the Gorges du Chambon camping?
Our rentals are available from 4pm.
Our camping sites are available from 2pm.
Is it possible to arrive earlier at the camping?
It is not possible to enter and enjoy the camping before the scheduled arrival time.
What time should we leave?
Rentals from the campsite must be vacated by 11am.
Pitches must be vacated by 12pm.
Is it possible to leave the rental or camping site later?
Outside of July and August, it is possible to enjoy your rental or camping spot for a longer period of time depending on availability.
Only the reception can authorize this.
The late departure fee is 35€ for a rental and 8€ for a camping spot.
This also allows you to take advantage of the camping's facilities.
Is it possible to arrive after the reception closes?
It is possible for you to arrive after reception closing. To do so, please notify us as soon as possible. You will find an envelope with your name at the entrance of the camping with your access. We ask you to present yourself at the reception the day after your arrival from 9am. You can access the camping with your vehicle until 10pm.
